Reviews and Ratings
The hotel exceeded my expectations with its tastefully decorated rooms featuring comfortable beds, large windows, and well-equipped bathrooms, complete with a Dyson hair dryer and L'Occitane bath products. The early room readiness was a delightful surprise, and the immaculate space with ample storage and premium toiletries made relaxation effortless. However, the pricing could be a bit high for some travelers but definitely worth it for the quality offered.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, complete with a lovely welcome package of apples, chocolates, and a refreshing bottle of water. The view of the Parliament buildings from my corner suite was breathtaking, and the huge bed with plush pillows ensured a restful night's sleep. The only tiny downside was that the room was advertised as a 'large double,' but it still felt more like a fantastic experience overall.
The hotel offers spacious and well-appointed rooms with interesting textures, providing a very comfortable stay. The service was friendly and helpful, especially accommodating our needs upon arrival with surfboards and frozen fish. The location is fantastic for exploring Victoria with various attractions within walking distance, making it easy to access the downtown core. The dining experience was in the price and enjoyable, although one staff member was less than pleasant. Overall, a great stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel is a peaceful oasis with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The rooms are restful and tastefully done in muted tones, offering a tranquil experience. The location allows easy access to all the charms of Victoria, although the view overlooks a public car park. The dining options are good and convenient, providing a satisfying experience. Overall, a great choice for a relaxing stay in Victoria.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The Courtney Room offered well-equipped and comfortable accommodations with a magnificent view of the Parliament Buildings and part of the harbor all lit up at night. While there was some noise from nearby construction, the overall experience was spectacular.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The helpful men in valet parking always greeted us with a smile, and the spacious rooms with a king-size bed and fireplace were well-appointed with attention to detail. However, our room wasn't made up for two of the three days we were there.
The hotel's location is just perfect for exploring downtown Victoria, with beautiful views of the lit Government buildings at night. The rooms were bright and one of the nicest we experienced during our trip. The service was exceptionally friendly and genuine, with staff going above and beyond to assist us. The dining options included a satisfying variety of items that set us up well for the day. However, the view from the room overlooked a mechanical unit, which was a slight downside.
The hotel is ideally located within a short walk of downtown Victoria, making it convenient to explore the city center. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and refreshed daily, although some overlook a public car park. The service is attentive and welcoming, offering a variety of amenities. The dining options are good and mostly convenient, especially in the attached Courtney Room. Overall, a great location with warm service and comfortable rooms.
I absolutely loved my stay at Magnolia! The rooms were clean and cozy, equipped with a nespresso machine that I used every evening. The service was top-notch with a touch of unpretentious professionalism. The location was superb, making it easy to explore downtown Victoria on foot. The dining experience was delightful, though a bit basic. The facilities were impressive overall.
